Vera Perry: “We have earned this award, everything we have done is for the benefit of the residents,
e.g. we have an Activity Co-Ordinator who works here solely to make us happy.
This enables us to go out on trips, various activities, life is interesting.
I must add that we now have many voluntary groups and volunteers coming in to the home, which gives us a sense
of being a part of the community again”.
Elsie Holland: “I am glad that we have been recognised for all that we are achieving by receiving this award.
By inviting the community in, we feel part of it”.
Doris Dyer: “I feel jolly happy that we have received this award, that we have been recognised and awarded for our
